Yoga Class Descriptions
Kundalini Yoga Kundalini Yoga helps relieve stress, anxiety, depression, insomnia, back pain, past trauma and current drama!
The practice integrates active movement with held stretches, breath techniques, deep relaxation, meditation, mudras (hand positions) and mantras. It is called "the yoga of awareness". Kundalini Yoga is used to create energy within the body that leads to awareness of the self and the environment.

- No expectation to complete poses that the body and mind are not ready for
- Helps to achieve and maintain a healthy weight, increase flexibility, create vitality and health and develop self acceptance
- Classes can include aerobics, strength training exercises, singing, dancing and meditation
Hyp Yoga Hyp Yoga combines Yoga poses with the use of meditation and hypnosis to push past the conscience and create lasting mental, emotional and physical changes. Hyp-Yoga practicitioners feel lasting and positive effects in areas from weight loss to feeling present in the moment and even further to feeling a balanced mind, body and spirit. A Hyp class consists of vinyasa or hatha poses. The last 15-20 minutes uses hypnotic techniques to take students through a visual meditation. This meditation is filled with positive suggestions that are able to reach and stick into the subconscious.
Hyp-Yoga practice can be done by beginners or advanced yogis. Please check class level and speak with instructor for any questions or concerns!
Also included in the Hyp-yoga family are Hyp-Prenatal, Hyp-Restorative and Hyp-Power Yoga
Powerful Vinyasa Yoga Powerful Vinyasa Yoga uses yoga poses and breathe work to create a challenging, yet mindful sequence that stokes the physical fire and gives students a physical connection to their own power. Classes will strengthen the muscles as well as the mind. Powerful Vinyasa Yoga classes are all levels but a basic knowledge of yoga poses is suggested.
In this class, our goal is simply breathing and moving. Postures are typically held for no more than a few breaths, with a focus on opening the chest, hips, and shoulders. Our emphasis lies within the idea of allowing our bodies to move gracefully and organically, while at the same time using simple breathing techniques to calm the body and the mind. Students leave feeling more open and a tune to their bodies, prepared for a restful night of sleep. This class is beginner level oriented, as well as always open to any level practitioner.
A fun, upbeat latin inspired dance workout. Zumba go-ers burn calories and tone while moving and shaking.
